In September of 2023, the administration of ISCDIP opened the gates for a new facet of innovation for their students to indulge in, green lighting the formation of our school’s first ever electric car team. Led by two students of the class of 2025, our team, dubbed ISCDIP Turbo, aims to innovate, adapt, and dominate.
In early 2024, Turbo experienced its first great milestone, an invitation granting us the privilege of participating in that year’s Electric Vehicle Grand Prix. Despite it being our rookie year, our team worked tirelessly, and managed to accrue several awards, cementing Turbo’s name within the EVGP.
Team Turbo began its second year of operation, and with the new year came a new team, new faces, and new ideas in addition to new challenges we had to overcome and new leadership to guide us through the endeavor
Turbo’s second performance at the EVGP proved to be just as eventful and successful as our first. Being invited back for the second year in a row was an honor our new leadership was not going to let go to waste. The combined efforts of our team allowed us to once again make a name for Turbo, its many new awards proving it not just a talented upstart, but a true contender, a force to be reckoned with.
This February, Turbo faces its greatest challenge yet, the 2026 Electric Vehicle Grand Prix. The expectations are daunting and the competition is the fiercest it has ever been. Yet even with these towering obstacles facing us, Turbo shall work through the strife and turmoil, to hopefully experience greatness once again.
