Our Mission, continued
Here at Team Turbo, we pride ourselves on not only contributing directly to building a better future for our world but also nurturing the curiosity and ambitions of the young minds that are bound to inherit it. We were recently privileged with the opportunity to educate the future innovators of our school about what Electric Car Club is all about
Our hard-working team presented to them the fundamental ideals that our club is built upon. Through the use of an interactive presentation and an entertaining Kahoot quiz, our team hoped to ingrain in the minds of the nearly two hundred sixth graders in attendance the ideas that push the boundaries between present and future, the first being mechanical creativity, where one should not fear to push the boundaries of what is established and well known, but carve their own path to find the most efficient solution to any obstacle that may be encountered. Our team then fostered a discussion regarding how artistic ability can mesh into all facets of the creation of our vehicle, merging with media promotion, programming and tech,
With that established, our team then moved onto informing them about the car itself and the reasons that culminated in its formation. The message we hoped to instill in these young minds was that our team has created a vehicle whose strength didn’t lie in what it has, but in what it is devoid of as well. Its purpose isn’t only to win races with the silent power offered by its electric motors, but to pave a road into a brighter and more sustainable tomorrow with the lack of harmful emissions afforded to it by being electric. Overall, Team Turbo’s primary mission is the genesis of a more prosperous future, and we shall work tirelessly to achieve our mission, whether it be by building a clean vehicle today, or building the minds of those who shall carry this mission tomorrow.
